  • 2. ALWAYS keep your finger off the trigger until ready to shoot.
  • 3. ALWAYS keep the gun unloaded until ready to use.

Because above all firearm safety is the most important part of being an advocate of the 2nd amendment.  these are a few of the rules there are still many to go over, being being well informed is part of being a responsible gun owner.

The Course will go over the different types of options of handguns. Going out and buying a new firearm is always an overwhelming experience for a first time gun owner and there are three main action types of firearms. Double Action, Single Action, and Semi-automatic. there will be different actions in the classroom (NO LIVE AMMUNITION will be present during the time of class) to be able to have hands on training with the firearms.

Making sure your firearm is the right caliber for you to be able to control the arc of movement Recoil). We will go over different types of ammunition, the size of caliber, and the difference between the grains of each type. Going over this will allow newer shooters be able to decide which types of loads they prefer for different types of situations.

Finding that perfect shooting positions and stance is key to being able to hit your intended target. there are variations on the two different shooting positions that will be covered during the course. we will adjust and find what works for you. fixing and adjusting your sight alignments, grip, and what ever errors we can help eliminate while in the class room before we move onto the live fire portion of the course. then finally after we feel comfortable with your stance.

Finally after we finish up at the range, we will return to the classroom if you are unfamiliar with the proper disassembly and cleaning of your firearm. How to clean and keep your firearm in operational form can make all the difference in a situation in which you may have to use your firearm.
